Professional Development based on Building Code of Australia (TFC-01) 6 Points - RRP $198.00 incl GST
The first in the TFC series of packages; TFC-01 explores Sections 1 and 2 of Australian Standard-1684 Residential Timber Framed Construction. Designed as an introduction to the Code; this package uses clear, simple diagrams and easy to follow examples to make the task of completing the set exercises a satisfying and rewarding experience. Completion is self paced and is undertaken as time permits. At the completion of this module clients should not only enjoy the rewarding experience of understanding how loads are shared in a timber framed structure but should also be able to select the correct sectional size of a timber member, based on their own calculations. The included DVD (or VHS tape with the same content) will assist in understanding some of the more technical concepts of AS 1684. Results are externally assessed and comply with Workplace Standards Tasmania requirements for CPD Activity: Group 1 Activities (Vocational).
